Venezuelan-Western Saharan relations are bilateral diplomatic relations between the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Sahara Arab Democratic Republic (SADR).

History
Venezuela recognized the independence of SADR on August 3, 1982, [1] formal diplomatic relations were established in December of the same year, [2] during the reign of Luis Herrera Campins . The SADR embassy was opened in Caracas in 1982, the Venezuelan embassy was accredited in Algeria [3] .
On October 5, 2004, the Convention on Domestic Cooperation was signed by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Venezuela, and Foreign Minister of SADR, Salek Baba [4] . On January 31, 2007, 11 students from Western Sahara arrived in Venezuela for refining courses in Cumana as part of the International School Program of Venezuela [5] .
In April 2010, the representative of Venezuela, Reynaldo Bolivar, responsible for relations with Africa, met with the Western Saharan ambassador to expand the general educational program [2] . On October 27, 2011, a joint cooperation agreement on water resources was signed by the representative of the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources for Water Resources, Christobal Francisco Oritz and the Western Saharan Ambassador [6] .
