Biography
Born April 23, 1903 in the city of Kimry, Tver province. Father - Mikhail Ivanovich Sudilovsky, director of the Kimra lower craft school, mother - Olga Karlovna Sudilovsky, teacher.
She graduated from the Kimra school of the second stage (1920) and the natural department of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Moscow State University (1926). Thesis - "Comparative anatomical study of the musculature and innervation of the pelvic region and hind limbs of ratites," supervisor M. A. Menzbir, was later published by the Academy of Sciences (1931).
In 1927-1930, a graduate student of M. A. Menzbir and at the same time a laboratory assistant at the office of comparative anatomy and zoogeography. Candidate dissertation "On the correlation of morphological features of corvids with their geographical distribution" (1930) was also published by the Academy of Sciences of the USSR as a separate edition (1933).
Researcher: in 1930-1936 - Laboratory of Zoogeography of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, in 1936-1938 - Moscow branch of the Zoological Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR.
In 1938-1976, a senior researcher at the Zoological Museum of Moscow University, from 1954 the head. ornithological department.
She retired shortly before her death.
She died on August 1, 1976 in Moscow. She was buried at Vvedensky cemetery .
The 1952 Stalin Prize as part of the team of authors for the scientific work “Birds of the Soviet Union. In 3 vols. ”(1951).
She was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor (1958).
The author of works on avifauna of Central Asia - “Birds of Kashgar” (1936) and “Birds of the Tarim basin and the mountains surrounding it” (1973).
