Myasnikov, Valery Vladimirovich

8-year-old Valery was brought to the boxing section by his father, who had once been involved in judo ^[3] . It was the only martial arts section in Lobny, the coach and Myasnikov Sr. knew each other. And although the training and sports regime were quite tough, the matured Valery gratefully recalls his first mentor - Boris Alexandrovich Golikov. He also appreciates the support of parents who managed to convince the teenager of the need for sports.

He studied at the "fours" and "fives" at school, but he did not differ in exemplary behavior, while he was able to stand up for himself, repulse the older and, accordingly, stronger. In high school, he began to train in Moscow and traveled from Lobny by electric train, taught lessons and dined there ^[4] . In parallel with boxing, he started kickboxing, mastering the kick technique with his feet.

Thanks to kickboxing, an acquaintance with another famous MMA fighter, Sergey Khandozhko, took place: “When I applied to the university, I met Sergey Khandozhko. He had a kickboxing shirt, I realized - my character. I think I’ll come, get acquainted, ask: “Are you speaking?” If he has no idea, I think I will stun him a little. It turned out to be a normal type, and we somehow made friends and literally in the very first month of training we went to hand-to-hand fighting competitions from the university ” ^[3] .

At the same time, he met Renat Bulykin. He continued his performances in hand-to-hand combat and boxing at tournaments of various levels: he became the winner of the international boxing tournament of class “A” (Samara, 2011) and the champion of the sports contest of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in boxing among employees of law enforcement bodies and students of legal institutes and schools of Russia (2011— 2013) rises to the steps, including the first, of the pedestal at various boxing tournaments in Russia and abroad; wins and becomes the prize-winner of the championships of Moscow and Russia; champion (2011) and medalist (2009) in hand-to-hand competition among students of higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia; prize-winner of the international championship in hand-to-hand combat "Russian Athlete" (2011).

At the end of the second year, according to Valery, “a certain stagnation in the competitions formed, and there was an offer to try their hand at MMA, to hold the first battle. It was exciting and interesting at the same time, but I agreed and began to train ” ^[5] . As an amateur in MMA, in November 2011 V. Myasnikov performed at the open all-Russian tournament for realistic battles “Lead, Fight, Vladey” (St. Petersburg), where he took second place (2 fights, 2 wins).

Along with trainings and performances, he began to engage in coaching and at the end of the university in 2014, together with a friend, opened a martial arts section in the suburbs.

The first professional fight took place in May 2011, where Valery Myasnikov knocked out Maxim Bulakhtin at the end of the third minute of the first round.

Valery Myasnikov is training with the head coach of KSE “R. O.D. Kommersant »by Alexander Sidorin on percussion technique. In addition to training, he worked with a psychologist on practical issues (improving attention, reaction, reaction speed, peripheral vision, breathing) and coaching.

He considers his third fight at the mixed martial arts tournament in Voronezh (January 2012) with Vladimir Semenov (Volgograd) the most difficult. The fighters spent three rounds, in the first Myasnikov knocked down his opponent twice, but he also skipped “that he didn’t even remember what was going on in the ring.” We then normalized each other, and by a judicial decision gave the victory to me ” ^[6] .

The fighter has two wins with an interval of two weeks: on October 13, 2012 at the ProFC 42 tournament, which he learned about the day before the fight, V. Myasnikov deals with his opponent in the first round, and on the 27th of October at VCR Overtime 1 also in the first round will knock out another.

At the M-1 Challenge 54 / ACB 12 tournament, Valery Myasnikov had a duel with German fighter Stefan Pütz for the light heavyweight title. In the first round, Myasnikov was faster than his opponent, attacked more, had several good hits with his hands in the head, but subsequently, the dimensions of the German affected. As Myasnikov himself admits, in the category of up to 93 kg he practically did not need to lose weight, while the opponent between fights could weigh up to 110 kg with a height of 198 cm. In the second round, Putz transferred Myasnikov to the ground and won by technical knockout ^[7] . He attends seminars and master classes in sports traumatology and training methods, studies sports and martial arts from a scientific perspective. He is fond of drawing, likes baths and travels, has a higher economic education with a degree in taxes and taxation. On the back has a tattoo Vivere est militare (in the lane with Latin. To live means to fight) ^[8] . He received the nickname "Russian Hammer" from teammates who said that Valery beats like a hammer. ^[9]

Despite the aggressive image, in ordinary life, the fighter is calm. He takes part in public youth events. Myasnikov repeatedly participated in open training ^[10] , and also took part in a street artists competition, becoming the author of several works on military-patriotic themes ^[11] .
