Middensharv [1] [2] ( Tajik. Middenshor ) is a village in Eastern Tajikistan , since 2009 it has been the administrative center [3] of the Shugnansky district of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region . The village is located in the Pamirs , on the right bank of the Shardara River, which flows into the tributary of the Panj - Gunt . 20 km southeast of the former (until 2009) district center - the city of Khorog .

In 2012, the village was renamed Vahdat ( Tajik. Vaddat ) with the status of a village [4] [5] , however, as of January 1, 2015, the statistical service under the President of Tajikistan does not allocate villages in the Shugnan region. [6]
