Contribution to philately

In the 1930s, Jozsef Takacs made substantial efforts to rally and organize the philatelic movement of the general and general collection movement within the framework of the Esperanto movement. In the past, there were already various ephemeral societies, clubs and newspapers of collectors in the language of Esperanto. Before the outbreak of World War I, a collectors department was organized at the World Esperanto Association. All this activity subsequently subsided. In January 1932, the World Collectors Association ( Tutmonda Asocio Kolektanta , TAK ) [8] [9] was founded, and Takacs [2] [7] [10] became its president .

The association included 140 members in 14 countries. She owned the newspaper “World Collector” ( “Tutmonda Kolektanto” ), which was published in ( Czechoslovakia ). The leading core of the association also included its vice-president ( Vienna ) and treasurer FV Mizera ( FV Mizera ; Jablonne nad Orlici). In 1932–1934, J. Takach edited the World Collector newspaper [2] [7] [10] , as well as the yearbook of this association [11] .

Takacs produced the Pocket Catalog of Esperanto Marks ( “Poŝkatalogon de la Esperantaj por-okazaj glumarkoj” ), which was released in 1934 [≡] (with corrections and additions in 1936) [≡] .
