As of January 1, 2016, the population was 383 people in 180 households [1] .
The village has a post office, a library, a first-aid station and two shops [1] .
Content
Geography
The village is located 28 km north-east of the city of Kobryn , 6 km from the Gorodets station , 72 km east of Brest , on the M10 Kobrin- Gomel highway [2] .
For 2012, the area of the settlement was 2.8 km² (280 ha [3] ).
History
The locality is known from the XV century as a village of the Kobrin principality [2] . At various times the population was [2] :
- 1999: 224 farms, 599 people;
- 2005: 263 farms, 514 people;
- 2009 [4] : 415 people;
- 2016 [1] : 180 households, 383 people.
Attractions
In Grushego there was a manor of the Rodzevich family, built in 1825. The manor house was preserved, but was substantially rebuilt in the direction of simplifying the architectural form. Here lived the Polish writer Maria Rodzevich (Rodzevichvna) .
