As of January 1, 2016, the population was 164 people in 70 households [1] .
In the agro-town there are a post office, a culture center, a library, a feldsher-midwife station and a store [1] .

Geography
The agro-town is located 34 km southeast of the city of Kobrin , 8 km from Gorodets station and 78 km east of Brest [2] .
In 2012, the area of the settlement amounted to 2.09 km² (209 ha [3] ).
History
The village has been known since the 16th century as the village of Ugly [2] . At different times, the population was [2] :
- 1897: 44 yards, 251 people;
- 1905: 321 people
- 1921: 70 yards, 394 people;
- 1940: 64 yards, 454 people;
- 1970: 292 people
- 1999: 96 households, 239 people;
- 2005: 79 households, 197 people;
- 2009 [4] : 206 people;
- 2016 [1] : 70 households, 164 people.
