Wilhelm Anton Friedrich von Cabrit (also von Kobrit ; German: Wilhelm Anton Friedrich von Cabrit ; died before 1807 ) - German military in the Russian service. Brother Fedor Fedorovich Cabrit .
In service since 1759 [1] . Since 1780 , in the rank of second major, he served in Narva , Vyborg , Revel . Apparently, he took some part in the Russian-Swedish war of 1788-1790 . In 1793 - 1796 commanded a garrison in the city of Baltic Port . He rose to the rank of Major General (from October 5, 1798). He finished his service in Saratov , retired from November 1799 [1] .
He left the German “Dorozhnik” (Unterschiedene Marschruhten) in the form of a diary; a retelling of this source is contained in the book “Description of Manuscripts of the Imperial Society of Ancient Writers” (St. Petersburg, 1892, part 1, pp. 293-300), prepared by H. M. Loparev ; according to Loparev, Cabrit reports a number of details of the Swedish war unknown from other sources, including the history of Pavel Petrovich’s departure with an inspection to Finland.
