Anaco ( Spanish: Anaco ) is a municipality within the Venezuelan state of Ansoategui . The administrative center is the city of Anaco .

Anaco's economy is based on oil and natural gas production.
Transport
In 2009, an agreement was signed between Venezuela and China on the joint construction of the 468 km-long Tinaco - Anaco railway line [1] .
