Biography
Born on January 12, 1930 in a peasant family in the village of Yaremenko, Kremenchug District. He began his career as a 13-year-old teenager on the collective farm of his native village. Worked as a laborer. In 1948 he was called up for military service in the Red Army. After the army, he taught physical culture in a seven-year school in the village of Kishenkov. Since 1954, he lived in the village of Luka, Lokhvitsky District, where he was in charge of the village club. In 1965 he was elected chairman of the Kirov collective farm in the Lokhvytsky district.
In 1990, he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor "for outstanding achievements in the development of agriculture, a great personal contribution to the increase in production and sale of agricultural products to the state through the use of intensive technologies and advanced methods of labor organization" [1] .
He was elected a delegate to the XXV Congress of the CPSU .
After retirement he lived in the city of Lokhvitsa, where he died in 2002.
