Originally called Railroad Street . This name appeared at the beginning of the 20th century and is due to the fact that the street begins and ends at the Sestroretsk railway line, forming its chord.
In the late 1930s, Zheleznodorozhnaya was renamed Andreeva Street in honor of I. D. Andreev, director of the Sestroretsky Resort sanatorium in 1930-1935 [1] .
The continuation of Andreeva street to the north is a pedestrian road to the sanatorium "Sestroretsky resort". She goes through the Sestroretsk railway line, and immediately after it an arch is built. On the section from Lesnaya Street to Maxim Gorky Street, the entire eastern side is Upper Park .
