Biography
Catalin Zamiar was born on August 12, 1971 in Chicago , Illinois . She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign at the Department of Anthropology, and for some time worked as a medical examiner. Since 1982, Katalin has been involved in various types of martial arts, including Israeli military hand-to-hand combat [2] and mixed martial arts . [3]
In 1993, Catalin played three female characters to Kitana , Milena, and Jade in the video game Mortal Kombat II . [4] In 1995, Zamiar played the role of one of the fighters in Thea Realm Fighters , but the game was never released. [5] In 1997, Zamiar, like some of her fellow actors from Mortal Kombat II, filed a lawsuit against Midway Games because they did not pay the actors interest on sales of the game’s home ports (the so-called “royalties” ), however the company won the lawsuit. In 2014, in honor of the twentieth anniversary of MK-II, Katalin Zamiar, along with the other actors, appeared at an event called Galloping Ghost Arcade . [7]
Personal life
In the 90s, she met with Ho Sung Pak , the performer of the role of Liu Keng in Mortal Kombat . [eight]
