History
The section of the old postal road from Feodosia to Kerch , until 1961 was called the Kerch highway.
In 1961, it was named in honor of I.F. Fedko (1897-1939), a Soviet military leader, participant in the revolutionary movement in Feodosia.
The childhood and youth years (1891-1904) of the famous Soviet sculptor Vera Mukhina passed on the street.
In 18, Dmitry Ulyanov , the younger brother of V.I. Lenin , rented a house at Terebinsky, who served as a doctor in Feodosia in the 1910s.
In the mid-1980s, it was decided to demolish the former Mukhins' house on the street for the construction of a large 5-storey house. In 1984, demolition work began. The employees of the Feodosia Museum, which was being created since 1982, managed to achieve a decision to create a museum in a new house, while preserving the main facade of the demolished house, built into the first floor of the new building [1] .
On the night of July 27, 2013, the mayor of Theodosia A. V. Bartenev was mortally wounded in the entrance of his house No. 28 on Fedko Street [2] .
