Affection is a Christian virtue , manifested, according to the ideas of Christian authors, the so-called joyful crying [1] and close to joyful sorrow - a condition that the Holy Fathers described as the simultaneous coexistence and inseparable unity of sadness and joy [2] .
In a different formulation, emotion βis expressed in blissful joyful sorrowβ (that is, in essence, it is identified with joyful sorrow) [3] . The paradoxical combination of sadness and joy under the influence of emotion is caused by the realization of the fact that although none of the people is worthy of the infinite love of God, yet a person receives it as a gift and grace [3] . Affection brings a personβs soul into contrition and fills it with love for God and neighbor [1] .
