Early years
Nick Gelfuss was born on January 21, 1985 in Cleveland , Ohio . He grew up in Little Italy, later moved to the eastern outskirts - to Chesterland. Nick became interested in acting in the eighth grade when the teacher invited him to audition for a school play, where he got the role of a pirate named Red Dog in the production of Treasure Island. After graduating from West Geauga High School, Nick entered Marietta College at the University of Missouri in Kansas City , where he received a bachelor of fine arts. After that, Gelfuss spent 2 years in New York [2] [3] .
Career
Nick began his acting career on the stage. His debut took place in New York in the production of Midsummer Night's Dream , where Bibi Neuwirth and Christina Ricci starred with him. Gelfuss also received the prestigious Rosemarie Tichler Award for Outstanding Performance in Theater Performance [4] . In 2009, Nick took part in dubbing the movie for children, "Sam Steel and the Children's Detective Agency." This was followed by episodic roles in such series as “ Army Wives ”, “ Dear Doctor ”, “ Rizzoli and Isles ”, “ Good Wife ”, “ In the Field of View ”, “ Blue Blood ”. In 2013, Gelfuss joined the second season of the series " News " in the role of Ross Kessler.
