Geographical position
The village of Kamennoozerskoye of the municipal entity “ Bogdanovich City District ” is located on the shores of Lake Kamennoye 19 kilometers southeast of the administrative center of the district - the city of Bogdanovich (26 km by road) [4] . The terrain is quite elevated and healthy; the soil is mainly black soil [5] .
Village History
The first settlers were fishermen from the nearest villages. At the beginning of the 20th century, there were no villages in the parish, and there were 745 male and 725 female parishioners, all Russians, Orthodox and farmers [5] .
School
Since 1884 there has been a parish school in the village, in 1902 a literacy school was opened in the village [4] .
Nicholas Church
In 1858, a stone church was built and consecrated in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. There was a priest and a psalter in the clergy, for the premises of which there are two church houses [5] . In 1938 the temple was closed. In Soviet times, the building housed a warehouse [4] , and before that, in 1922, 1.4 kilograms of silver were removed from the temple. The dome, bell tower and murals are not preserved [6] .

According to the 2002 census, the national composition is as follows: Russians - 94% [8] . According to the 2010 census, the village had: 254 men, 279 women [9] .
Infrastructure
The village is divided into four streets (March 8, Cosmonauts, Lenin, Mira) and one lane (Chapaeva) [10] , there is a school (MKOU "Kamennoozerskaya basic comprehensive school" [11] ), a kindergarten (MKDOU "Kindergarten No. 29" [12] ) and the post office [10] .
