Biography

Club career

Walter Herrmann was born in Venado Tuerto , province of Santa Fe , in the family of Hector Herrmann and Maria Christina Heinrich. He started playing basketball at the local Olympia club, which made his debut in the National Basketball League on March 30, 1997 [1] . In 1999 and 2000, Herrmann won the Argentinean slam dunk contest. In 2000, he moved to Atenas from Cordoba , one of Argentina's strongest clubs. There he grew up to a national level star, in 2002 became the champion of Argentina, in 2001 he was recognized as the most valuable player in the league, in 2002 - the most valuable player in the final series, twice, in 2000 and 2002 he took part in the match between the stars of the Argentine league.

In 2002, Herrmann moved to Spain, signed a contract with the Fuenlabrada club.
