Biography
Born on September 19, 1913 in a peasant family in the village of Ustivitsa, Poltava province. After graduating from a seven-year school in 1928 in his native village, he entered the Velikosorochinsky Pedagogical College, which he graduated in 1931. He was a primary school teacher in a seven-year school in the village of Ustivitsa. From 1939-1941 - teacher of an elementary school in the village of Rakitnoye, Kremenchug district, and director of a seven-year school in the village of Matyashovka, Velikobagachansky district. After the start of World War II, he was evacuated with his family to Kyrgyzstan, where he was the director of one of the schools in the Osh region of the Osh region until the liberation of the Poltava region from German occupiers in 1943.
In 1943 he was appointed head of the district department of public education of the Velikokrynkovsky district of the Poltava region. In 1944 he joined the CPSU (b).
He graduated from the Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the CPSU and the correspondence department of the Kiev Pedagogical Institute with a degree in history (1948). Since 1948 - head of the propaganda and agitation department, second secretary of the Velikokrynsky district committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine. In 1950, he was elected the first secretary of the Velikokrynsky district committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine and in 1956 - the first secretary of the Reshetilovsky district committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
From 1962 to 1965 - party organizer, head of the Charles production collective-farm and state farm administration of the Poltava regional committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine. In January 1965, he was elected first secretary of the Karlovsky district committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine. He took an active part in the development of agriculture in the Karlovsky district. Under his leadership, the Karlovsky district achieved significant indicators of agricultural production in the Poltava region. In 1971 he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor "for outstanding successes achieved in the development of agricultural production and the implementation of the five-year plan for the sale of agricultural and livestock products to the state . "
In 1973 he retired. He lived in Poltava, where he died in 1992. He was buried in the Alley of Heroes of the Poltava Central Cemetery.
