Ayupov, Abrek Idrisovich

Abrek Idrisovich Ayupov (born 1936) - Russian military and scientist, Colonel General of Aviation (1993), Doctor of Technical Sciences (1987), Professor (1991), Academician of RARAN (1993). He is the author of scientific works and inventions on the problems of development and testing of aviation equipment and weapons, ensuring the safety of proving tests, and systemic research.

Biography

Born on February 22, 1936 in the village of Yansa-Turmysh, Yudinsky district of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, now the Republic of Tatarstan.

He graduated from the Kazan Air Force School (1953) and the Air Force Engineering Academy. N.E. Zhukovsky (1959). From 1959 to 1986 he served as an engineer for aviation weapons of an aviation regiment and took part in tests of aviation equipment and weapons at the Air Force Research Institute named after V.P. Chkalov. [1] Over the years of service in Akhtubinsk, he went from an assistant to a leading engineer to deputy chief of the Air Force Research Institute named after V.P. Chkalov on the test-methodical and research work. He defended his thesis in 1969 and his doctorate in 1987. Since 1986, he was the deputy chief of armaments and later the head of the flight test service of the Air Force weapons control apparatus. In 1992, Ayupov was appointed deputy commander of the Air Force of the Russian Federation for armaments - chief engineer of the Air Force. In 1989-1995 he was deputy commander-in-chief of the Air Force for armaments - chief of armaments.

Since 1996, is retired and engaged in scientific activities. In 1996-1998 he was deputy director of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise State Scientific and Production Center Zvezda-Strela .
