The national team of Denmark at the 2007 World Ice Hockey Championship took fifth place in Group E of the qualification stage, in which it fell from the third place of Group D (D). In the overall standings, the Daniyah national team placed in tenth place, ahead of Ukraine, Austria, Norway, Latvia, Italy and Belarus.
For six games in the championship, the Danish national team scored six points, missing 29 goals and scoring 15 goals. Thus, the difference between the goals scored and the goals conceded was −14 goals. Matches with the participation of the Danish team was visited by 41,340 people.

Preliminary Round
The debut of the Russian national team at the championship was successful: already in the first minute the puck from Zaripov’s skate was in the winches of the Danes. By the end of the fourth minute, the Russians were in the lead 3-0. Only at the end of the first period the Danes were able to hold a single goal. The next two periods passed with the full advantage of the Russian team, which was able to bring the match to a landslide victory.

Qualification Round
The match began unexpectedly. An obvious favorite of the tournament - the national team of Sweden - lost by the eighth minute of the match with a score of 0: 2. However, by the first break, Sweden was able to equalize - 2: 2. In the future, the Danes successfully defended themselves, but missed the puck from Johan Davidson in the middle of the third period. And then, at the end of the third period, they missed another puck from Johansson. In the last minute, playing in the minority, the Danes took off the goalkeeper and conceded the fifth goal into an empty net.
