Hilla Oil and Trade Company is an oil producing company established on June 12, 1914 to develop oil fields near the Hillinskiy district [1] , located on the territory of the Baku oil and gas region , as well as the subsequent sale of oil products. The fixed capital of the Company amounted to 2.5 million rubles.
According to some data [2], the Khillinskoye oil fields belonged to D. B. Avan-Yuzbashi Khan-Sagnaksky [3] , a prominent oil industrialist and philanthropist, a descendant of the noble Armenian clan Avan-khans . The board of directors of Hill was located in Petrograd.
