Basov, Anatoly Ivanovich

Biography

Anatoly Ivanovich Basov was born on October 24, 1944 in the city of Omsk. In 1963 he entered, and in 1967 he graduated from the Armavir VVAUL . Until 1971, he served in the combat units of the Air Force. In 1974, Captain Basov graduated from the Yu.A. Gagarin Air Force Academy [1] . At the end of the academy - in flight command posts. He commanded a squadron, regiment. In 1984, he graduated from the Higher Academic Courses at the Yu.A. Gagarin Air Force Academy, was appointed deputy commander, and then commander of the 28th Fighter Aviation Division .

In 1989, Anatoly Ivanovich graduated from the Military Academy of the General Staff . He commanded the air corps. In February 1991 he was appointed deputy commander of the 17th Air Army of the Kiev Military District , in December 1991 he was appointed commander of the 17th Air Army. He did not take the oath of Ukraine, and from March 1992 he was appointed commander of the 4th Air Army . Since November 1993 - the commander of the 76th Air Army , and after the unification of the Air Force and Air Defense - the commander of the 6th Army of the Air Force and Air Defense (since July 1998). He lives in St. Petersburg. He works at Pulkovo Airlines . Since March 2014 - Chairman of the Public Council at the North-West Interregional Territorial Administration of Air Transport of the Federal Air Transport Agency [2] .
