The Power of Three (album)

The information that Serebro will release their third studio album appeared at the end of August 2015. On October 30, 2015, as part of a large recital of the group in the Moscow club Izvestia Hall, a presentation of the new album was to take place ^[2] . Later, all the material for the plate, which was called 925 in honor of the precious metal sample, was stolen and the release was delayed ^{[3] [4]} .

On April 27, 2016, the iTunes Store opened a pre-order of the upcoming album, dubbed “The Power of Three.” The album included 16 tracks, most of which were previously released as singles . The songs “ Little You ” and “ I Will Not Give You Up ” reached the Top 5 of the Tophit main chart, and the track “ Mi Mi Mi ” gained popularity in the international music market. The album also included a joint single with the Russian musician DJ MEG "Ugar", as well as the track "Blood Diamond", recorded with the Dutch band Yellow Claw .

All material of the album was recorded as part of a trio of Olga Seryabkina, Polina Favorskaya and Daria Shashina. The song "Chocolate" was the only song recorded with the participation of Ekaterina Kishchuk, the soloist, who replaced Daria Shashina after her departure from the group. The track “My Money” is a solo song by Olga Seryabkina as part of her solo project Molly ^[5] .

Alexey Mazhaev from InterMedia agency called the new album of the band “SEREBRO” a collection of “achievements and searches of“ SEREBR'a for the last couple of years ”, since most of the songs on it are singles. He considered the song “Chocolate” “not too bright”, since in his opinion “it would be difficult for both the new soloist and the former to prove themselves to it” ^[1] .

• Notes: There are no songs “Kiss”, “Mi Mi Mi” and “Chocolate”, as well as both versions of “My Money” in the international edition of the album.
