Feyixi County ( Chinese: . , Pinyin : Féixī xiàn ) - County of Hefei City, Anhui Province ( PRC ). The name means "Hefei County West."

History
Historically, these places were part of Hefei County (合肥 县). In 1949, it was disbanded, and its western part was allocated to a separate county of Faie, which became part of the Chaohu Special District (巢湖 专区). In 1952, the Chaohu Special District was disbanded, and the county became part of the Luan Special Region (六安 专区). In 1958, the county was transferred under the jurisdiction of the Hefei authorities, but in 1961 it was returned to the Special Region of Luan. In 1971, Luan Special District was renamed Luan County (六安 地区).
In 1983, the county came under the jurisdiction of Hefei authorities.
