Baohe ( Chinese р 河 п , pinyin : Bāohé ) is the district under the city of Hefei City, Anhui Province ( PRC ).

History
In January 1951, two Suburban Regions were created, which in November of the same year were merged into a single Urban Suburban District (城 郊区). In 1952, it was divided into the Eastern suburban area (东 郊区) and the Western suburban area (西 郊区), but in 1955 they were again merged into the Urban suburban area. In March 1960, it was renamed the Shushan (蜀山区) district, in June of that year - the Northern city district (北市 区), and in 1963 - the Prigorodny district (郊区).
In 2002, the Prigorodny District was renamed the Baohe District.
