Biography
He started playing in the club "Meteor" from the village of New Moscow Region. He made his debut for the Resurrection "Chemist" in the season 1971/72, at the age of 18, spent 2 matches for the main team and scored one goal. The following season, played 13 matches. He was invited to the USSR youth team, which included winning the European Championship, and later invited to the USSR youth team at the first world championship, which was held unofficially.
In the 1977/78 season, Vladimir Lavrentiev became the leader of the Chemist and was there before he left. In the summer of 1982, he moved to Spartak (Moscow) and made the top three with Alexander Kozhevnikov and Viktor Tyumenev. Before the 1985/86 season, Lavrentiev decided to return to the Khimik Resurrection School and spent there one season. The following season, he moved to Salavat Yulaev in Ufa, where he played 2 seasons.
