Ꞑ , ꞑ ( N with a lower detail ) - the letter of the extended Latin alphabet. It was used in several versions of the Yanalif in the 1930s (such as Tatar), as well as in the 1990s in the Latin variant for the Tatar and Chechen languages.

In most languages it means the sound [ ŋ ] (as in the English word si ng i ng ).
Content
History
The Chechen version of the capital Ꞑ
The letter ꞑ appeared in the Yanalif in the late 1920s, but was borrowed by some other non-Turkic peoples of the USSR during the Latinization campaign. In the 1990s, the letter was used in the Chechen Latin alphabet, in the 2000s in the Tatar Latin alphabet [1] [2] , however, none of these alphabets are now widely used.
In the Chechen alphabet, the capital form of the letter looked like an enlarged lower case [3] .
