Distribution
China , Yunnan (Jinping, Mengla, 420 m) and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (Longteng, Mt. Tianping, 740 m) [1] .
Description
Small hymenopteran riders , the body length of males is about 16.6 mm, the length of the front wing is 11.3 mm. The main body color is black (antennae and legs lighter, dark brown). Pronotum with two anteroventral dentate protrusions. Occipital carina developed. Fore wings without transverse vein 2r-m. Pretarsal claws are crested with several serrated protrusions along the inner edge. Antennae long 14-segmented in both sexes. The palp formula is 6.4. A chest with a rough sculpture. Have an unusual attachment of the abdomen high on the propodeum of the breast [1] .
Systematics
From similar species, Pristaulacus pseudoiosephi is distinguished by two tooth-like protrusions on the pronotum and a completely black body. The species was first described in 2016 by Chinese entomologists H. Hua-yan Chen , Z. Xu ( Zai-fu Xu ; , Guangzhou , China ) and Italian hymenopterologist Giuseppe Turrizi ( Giuseppe Fabrizio Turrisi ; University of Catania, San Gregorio di Catania, Italy ) [1] .
