Biography

Born in 1899 in the village of Avratin, Volyn province, in a peasant family. After graduating from the city college in the city, Proskurov began to engage in arable farming in his native village. In 1917 he moved to Petrograd , where he joined one of the Red Guard detachments.

Civil War

In the Red Army voluntarily since 1918. From February 1918, he served as a private soldier in the 1st Petrograd Detachment, and from June to December 1918 - as a private soldier in the headquarters of the 3rd Brigade of the 9th Infantry Division . From December 1918 to March 1919, he served as counterintelligence officer of the 9th Infantry Division. From March 1919 - platoon commander of the 66th Cavalry Regiment. From June 1919 to February 1920 he commanded a squadron of the same regiment. In February 1920, he was enrolled as a student in the school of political personnel of the Revolutionary Military Forces of the 1st Cavalry Army stationed in the city of Taganrog . He graduated from this school in 1922. In battles he was contused.

Soviet period

In November 1922 he was appointed platoon commander of the 4th Cavalry Regiment of the 2nd Separate Turkestan Cavalry Brigade. From March 1923 to May 1924, he commanded a platoon of a junior training school for the 2nd Separate Turkestan Cavalry Brigade. From May 1924 - Commander of the 6th Cavalry Regiment of the same brigade. As part of the brigade, he participated in battles with the Basmachis in the Fergana Valley , for which he was awarded the Order of the Red Banner . From 1925 to 1928 he was a student of the main faculty of the Military Academy named after M.V. Frunze . After graduating from the Academy in July 1928, he was appointed Chief of Staff of the 7th Chernigov Cavalry Regiment. From July 1929 to October of the same year - Chief of Staff of the 2nd Reserve Cavalry Regiment. From October 1929 to October 1931 - teacher tactics Cavalry refresher courses for the Red Army commanders. Since 1931 - in military aircraft. In November 1931 he was appointed Assistant Commander of the 19th Airborne Brigade. In 1932 he graduated from the Advanced Training Courses for the Air Force Commanders of the Air Force Academy named after prof. NOT. Zhukovsky and was awarded the title "pilot-observer." From May to October 1933 he commanded the air carrier in the same academy. From October 1933 - Head of the Air Force of the Trans-Baikal Group of Forces of the Special Red Banner Far Eastern Army . From July 1934 to June 1936, he consecutively commanded the 214th and 52nd light bombers , deployed in the Belarusian Military District . From July 1936 to June 1937 - the commander and military commissar of the 47th airborne assault landing squad for special purposes . From June to August 8, 1937 was in the possession of the Office for the RKKA command personnel.

Sunset career and doom

He was arrested on August 8, 1937. He was accused of a military-terrorist organization, to which Jerome Uborevich was recruited, as well as of sabotage in the 47th airborne assault brigade. On November 22, 1937, the Military Collegium of the USSR Supreme Court was sentenced to death on charges of involvement in a military conspiracy. The sentence was executed on the same day. Rehabilitated by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on August 19, 1957.

Name F.F. Karmalyuk is one of the streets of the city of Grodno .
