Batman's voice
As a voice actor, Kevin Conroy gained fame for the role of his life - the most popular animated series Batman (1992-1995). [7] [8] He continued his role in subsequent spin-offs of The New Batman Adventures (1997-1999), Batman of the Future (1999-2001), Justice League (2001-2004) and Justice League: Without Borders (2004-2006 ), combined into a single Animated DC Universe (DCAU). As part of this universe, he also played in the animated film Batman: The Mask of Fantasy (1993) [9] [10] and DVD films Batman and Mr. Freeze (1998), Batman of the Future: The Return of the Joker (2000) and Batman: The Secret of Batumen (2003) ) He also voiced Batman as a guest star in the animated series Superman , Static Shock, and The Zeta Project .
Conroy noted that he was the first Batman actor to play animations using separate voices for Batman and Bruce Wayne, which was first done by Michael Keaton in Tim Burton 's Batman . [11] In the image of Batman, Conroy appears longer than any of the other performers of this role. Outside of DCAU, Conroy returned to the role of DC Universe Animated Original Movies DVDs: Batman: Gotham Knight (2008), Superman / Batman: Enemies of Society (2009), Superman / Batman: Apocalypse (2010), Justice League: Doom (2012) Justice League: The Source of Conflict Paradox (2013) and Batman: Attack on Arkham (2014). [5] [12] [13]
After the September 11 bombings in New York, Conroy trained volunteers for officers and firefighters. In the comments on Batman: Gotham Knight, Conroy recalled how surprised the reaction to his presence from the ambulance workers. There he did not fail to use “Batman's voice” to utter his catchphrase during cooking: “I am retribution! I am the night! I AM BATMAN! ”(From the episode“ Nothing to Fear ”in the animated series Batman: The Animated Series [14] ). This phrase was greeted by applause from the staff, many of whom were fans of the animated series of the 1990s. Conroy admitted that he was very embarrassed and deeply moved by such a reaction. [15]
Before the release of The Dark Knight Rises, Conroy voiced the words of Christian Bale for an animated version of one of the movie trailers. [sixteen]
He again returned to the role of Batman in the most popular games Batman: Arkham Asylum (2009) and Batman: Arkham City (2011), gaining even more fame in fan circles. At Dallas Comic Con 2013, Conroy said he was working on the next franchise project. However, in June 2013, it turned out that in the game Batman: Arkham Origins, the young Dark Knight would be voiced by Roger Craig Smith . On March 4, 2014, it turned out that “the next project” for Conroy was the final game of the Batman line : Arkham Knight . [17]
