Career
Served the final matches of the 1976 European Championships and the 1978 World Championships [1] , as well as the first match of the European Super Cup 1975 .
Along with the Swiss, Gottfried Dinst is the only referee who served the finals of the World and European Championships.
In 2013, he was inducted into the Italian Football Hall of Fame .
