Saitov, Uildan Gilmanovich

Uildan Gilmanovich Saitov was born on November 17, 1951 in vil. Abdulnasyrovo Khaibullinsky district of the BASSR . After graduating from school and Baymaksky agricultural engineering (specialty - agronomist), he worked as an assistant to the foreman of the state farm "Haybullinsky" Matraevsky district of BASSR.

At Komsomol work since 1971 - instructor (1971-1973), 1st secretary of the Khaibullinsky District Committee of the Komsomol (1977-1979). In the Bashkir Regional Committee of the Komsomol (since 1979) he held the posts of deputy. Head department of Komsomol organizations, secretary.

In 1977 he graduated from the Higher Komsomol School at the Central Committee of the Komsomol, in 1991 - the Academy of Social Sciences of the Central Committee of the CPSU, he studied in the graduate school of the Academy. In 1991 he defended his thesis on the topic: "Creative youth in the conditions of democratization of public life: characteristics, ways of formation". Candidate of Philosophy (1991).

From 1980 to 1982 he worked in the republican youth newspapers “Lenins” - “Leninets”, “Molodezhnaya gazeta”.

Since 1986, as secretary of the Bashkir Regional Committee of the Komsomol, was a member of the Supervisory Commission at the Council of Ministers of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, monitoring the observance of human rights in places of detention in the BASSR ^[2] .

In party work since 1987. He held the position of instructor of the Bashkir Regional Committee of the CPSU, deputy. Head ideological department of the Bashkir Republican Committee of the Communist Party of the RSFSR (since 1991). After the dissolution of the CPSU, since 1992, he worked at the Institute of History, Language and Literature of the Ufa Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences as a senior researcher. The area of ​​Saitov's scientific interests is youth policy issues, regional encyclopedic studies.

From 1995, he worked in the Government of the Republic of Belarus as Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus (1995-1997).

He has been working in the Bashkir Encyclopedia Research and Publishing Complex since 1993, being the 1st Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Director (since 1998), Director General, and since 2008 he has also been the Head of the Research Center on Regional Encyclopedic Studies. The multi-volume Bashkir encyclopedia in the Russian and Bashkir languages, the encyclopedia Salavat Yulaev, Military history of the Bashkirs were published under the leadership of Saitov U. G. Abzelilovskaya, Ishimbay , Baymakskaya, Khaibullinsky encyclopedias, etc.

Currently lives in Ufa, is fond of photography, painting, gardening, theater.

Uildan Gilmanovich Saitov is the author of about 70 scientific papers, including:
