Khabibi (real name - Zakirjan Khalmatov , Uzbek. Zokirjon Xolmuhammad o'g'li Habibiy ; 1890 - April 16, 1980 ) [1] - Uzbek Soviet poet [2] .

Biography
Khabibi (Ҳabibi; Zokirjon Kholmuhammad ўғli) was born in one of the villages of the Andijan region of Uzbekistan. His father Kholmuhammad was a dehkan . Received primary education in the family, then studied at the school and madrasah in Andijan and Kokand [3] . I read a lot since childhood, showing great interest in the works of poets of the East, in particular Alisher Navoi, Fuzuli, Furkat, Mukimi. At the age of 20, he began to write gazelle poems.
In Soviet times, he worked as the head of the literary department in the Uzbek State Philharmonic and in the Uzbek Theater. Tashsovet, was a researcher at the Academy of Sciences of the Uzbek SSR [4] .
Creativity
Khabibi turned to many forms of classical oriental lyrics, in particular among his works you can find gazelles, muhammas, musaddases, murabba, rubai, tuyugi, fard and masnavi. He was well versed in poetry: in the collection "Divan" (1971) there are 45 types of verses of the Aruz system based on a certain alternation of long and short syllables. According to the poet Uygun, “Khabibi was the master of poetry and mentor, who perfectly mastered the rules, laws and secrets of Aruz, made a worthy contribution to the development of gazelles in our modern poetry. Its gazelles are very rich in metaphors, allegories, hyperbole, loots, descriptive and graphic means ” [5] .
Many of Khabibi’s poems are set to music.
Rewards and memory
For his services and contribution to the development of Uzbek poetry, Khabibi was awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples (03/10/1980) [6] and the honorary title “People's Poet of Uzbekistan”. A museum of the poet’s creativity was opened in Pakhtaabad [7] . In Tashkent and Andijan, streets and schools are named after the poet.
