The album - the soundtrack of the same name with the film was released in October 1965 . The first nine songs were recorded in mid-February 1966 at Radio Recorders in Hollywood , California, with the final three recorded in May-June at RCA Records in Nashville , Tennessee . The album includes three "bonus tracks" that have not sounded in the film. These songs were recorded during a How Great Thou Art gospel album: the composition of “ Tomorrow Is a Long Time ” by Bob Dylan , with a duration of more than 5 minutes (this track is one of Presley 's longest songs released so far) “Down in the Alley” and the ballad “I'll Remember You”.
