ARAL

Computer ARAL

ARAL ( Polish. Analogowy Analizator Równań Algebraicznych Liniowych , Analog analyzer of linear algebraic equations ) is a Polish computer, analog computer. Created by Kristy Bohenek in 1954 in the GAM laboratory for solving systems of linear equations (including differential) using the method of successive approximations. ARAL consisted of 400 electronic tubes. Only three versions were created: ARAL-1, ARAL-2 and ARAL-3. A computer could solve systems of up to 8 equations.
