Batal Bey Darukva-Ipa Marshan ( Abkh. Batalbey Daryk-i -a Marshan ) is the Abkhaz prince, staff captain, son of Prince Darukwa Hrips-Ipa Marshan from Dal and the Ubykh princess Guaphanash Berzeg.

Biography
The second of the sons of Prince Darukwa Marshan. Initially, Batal Bey, like his brother Himkoraz (Shirin Bey), supported the ruler of Abkhazia , controlled by the Russians. Batal and Shirin in every possible way obstructed his younger brother Shabbat , and it was they who helped to capture him in 1837. After returning from exile, Shabbat set out to take revenge on his older brothers.
In 1840, it is mentioned that Batal Bey is a supporter of his brother Shabbat. A letter to Minister of War A.I. Chernyshev states that the Russian government is making every effort to capture the rebellious brothers Batal Bey, Shabat and Eshso Marshan. After the death of Shabbat in 1842, he again changed sides and already in every possible way impeded his brother Ashshou Marchand. Gathers the people’s police in Tsebeld. In 1845 it is said that Batal Bay occupies the most extensive land in Tsebeld and is the most influential among its inhabitants.
He died in 1859, was buried in the village of Lata.
