History
The village of Dunyakova is mentioned on the map of the St. Petersburg province of 1792 by A. M. Wilbrecht [2] .
The village of Dunyakova , consisting of 39 peasant houses , is marked on the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834 [3] .
DUNYAKOVO - the village belongs to the Treasury Department, the number of inhabitants according to audit: 114 meters, 124; p. [4] (1838)
The village of Dunyakova from 30 yards is marked on a special map of the western part of Russia by F. F. Schubert in 1844 [5] .
DUNYAKOVO - the village of the State Property Office, along a country road, the number of households is 52, the number of souls is 119 meters. [6] (1856)
DUNYAKOVO - a state-owned village at the Black River, the number of households is 60, the number of inhabitants: 122 m. P., 130. P.; Orthodox chapel [7] . (1862)
In the XIX century, the village was administratively related to the 2nd camp of Novoladozhsky district of St. Petersburg province, at the beginning of the XX century - to Gorodishchensky volost of the 5th district of the 1st camp.
According to the “Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province” for 1905, the village of Dunyakovo was part of the Zadnevskiy rural society [8] .

In 1917, the village was part of the Gorodishchensky parish Novaya Ladoga district.
From 1918 to 1922, the village of Dunyakovo was part of the Dunyakovo Village Council of the Zakhozhskaya Volost.
Since 1922, as part of the Glazhevsky volost of the Volkhov district .
Since 1924, as part of Vitenskoye Village Council.

The village is located in the northern part of the district to the north of the 41K-549 highway ( Pcheva - Dubnyagi ).
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 19 km [17] .
The distance to the nearest railway station Glazhevo is 27 km [12] .
The village is located on the left bank of the Black River.
