On March 12, 1961, Elvis Presley recorded his version of the song “I Feel So Bad” at RCA Studio B in Nashville , Tennessee. [1] In his version, Presley used the original arrangement of Chuck Willis and sang in his vocal style.
In the USA in 1961, in the Billboard magazine, the song “I Feel So Bad” performed by Elvis Presley reached the 5th place on the Hot 100 chart (the total chart of singles in different genres of pop music , the main hit parade of this magazine) and the 15th place in the rhythm and blues singles chart (now called Hot R & B / Hip-Hop Songs ) [2] .
In the UK, the song was released on a single with two sides of A (on the other side was the song “ Wild in the Country ” from the movie with the participation of Presley's “ Savage ”). The single "Wild in the Country / I Fel So Bad" reached number 4 on the national singles chart UK Singles Chart (in September of the same 1961) [3] .
