Geography

The village is located on the Valdai Upland , southeast of the administrative center of the rural settlement - the village of Molvotitsy , near the administrative border of the Novgorod and Tver regions passing along the Shcheberekh river 400 m south of the village.

History

In the list of populated areas of the Demyansky district of the Novgorod province for 1909, the village of Bolshoye Dorofeyevo (Dorofeyevo), which is indicated on the land of the Dorofeyevsky rural society , as well as the village of M. Lebedeva - Dorofeyevo (Maloye Dorofeyevo) were in the territory of the Polish Volost ; number of inhabitants: in the village - 137, in the village - 3 [5] . According to the decree of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee on April 3, 1924, the Polish Volost was abolished [6] , and Dorofeevo became part of the Molvotitsky Volost [7] . The population of the village of Dorofeevo according to the census of 1926 is 153 people [7] . Then, from August 1927, the village of Dorofeevo, as part of the Kozhinsky Village Council of the newly formed Molvotitsky District of the newly formed Novgorod District , was renamed from the North-West to the Leningrad Region [7] . In November 1928, the Kozhinsky Village Council was renamed the Mamonovshchinsky Village Council [7] [6] . By order of the Central Executive Committee and the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR of July 23, 1930, the Novgorod District was abolished, and the district became directly subordinate to the Leningrad Executive Committee. German occupation - in 1941-1942 [7] . Since 1942, the village has been the mass grave of Soviet soldiers [8] [9] . By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR of February 19, 1944, the district center of the Molvotitsky district was transferred from the village of Molvotitsy to the village of Marevo . By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of July 5, 1944, the Novgorod Region was formed and the Molvotitsky District became part of it [6] .

During the failed all-Union reform on dividing into rural and industrial areas and party organizations, in accordance with the decisions of the November (1962) plenum of the Central Committee of the CPSU "on the restructuring of the party leadership of the national economy" from December 10, 1962, a large Demyansky rural area was formed, and the administrative Molvotitsky the area of ​​February 1, 1963 was abolished. Mamonovschinsky village council then became part of the Demyansk rural area . The plenum of the Central Committee of the CPSU, held on November 16, 1964, reinstated the former principle of party leadership in the national economy, after which, by a decree of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR of January 12, 1965, rural areas were reorganized into administrative districts and by the decision of the Novgorod Oblast Executive Committee No. 6 of January 14, 1965, the Mamonovshchinsky Village Council and Village in Demyansky district . In accordance with the decision of the Novgorod Oblast Executive Committee No. 706 of December 31, 1966, the Mamonovschinsky Village Council and village from Demyansk District were transferred to the newly created Marevsky District . After the termination of the Mamonovschinsky Village Council in the early 1990s [10] , the Administration of the Mamonovschinsky Village Council, which was abolished in early 2006 and the village of Dorofeevo, became a part of the municipality , as a result of the municipal reform, was the Mountain Rural Settlement of the Marevsky Municipal District ( local government ), according to the administrative-territorial structure, was subordinate to the administration of the Mountain rural settlement of the Marevsky district [11] . From April 12, 2010 after the abolition of the Mountain rural settlement [12] Dorofeevo as part of the Molvotitsky rural settlement.
