The Trophée de France 2016 tournament is the fourth stage of the 2016–2017 Figure Skating Grand Prix . Held in the French capital Paris from November 11 to 13, 2016 [1] .

Competitions were held in the categories of men's and women's singles, pair figure skating and ice dancing on the ice of the sports complex AccorHotels Arena (which until 2014 was called Bercy).
The tournament is organized by the French Ice Sports Federation with the support of the International Ice Skating Union
Content
Rename Tournament
The tournament changed its name for the third time. It has been known as Trophée Eric Bompard since 2004 and was renamed in the summer of 2016 to Trophée de France. This was due to the fact that the title sponsor decided to terminate the sponsorship contract with the French Ice Sports Federation [2] .
Starring Skaters
The composition was originally announced at the end of June this year. These skaters are listed below in order to withdraw from the tournament.
Czech couple Kortney Mansour / Michal Česká replaced Slovakian dancers Federica Testa and Lukasz Zolli ; where the partner decided to end her sports career [3] . In early September, there was a message about the trauma of a British dancer and a couple of Penny Kums and Nicholas Buckland withdrew from the stage, they were replaced by Belarusian dancers Victoria Kovalyova and Yuri Belyaev . In mid-September, Russian skater Adyan Pitkeev starred due to a back injury [4] . He was replaced by the Belgian skater Yorick Hendricks . A month before the start, American loner Taylor Pearce starred because of a sprain [5] , she will be replaced by Armenian loner Anastasia Galustyan . Three weeks before the start, the representatives of the hosts starred: a single player Romain Ponsar (he will be replaced by Australian Brendan Kerry ) and a sports couple Camille Mendoza with Pavel Kovalev . A week before the starts, Japanese single player Soto Yamamoto starred. A few hours before the start, French greenhouses Lola Esbrat and Andrei Novosyolov starred.
