Sports career
He began his hockey career with performances for the Alberta Saints club (1983-1985), which was represented in the Junior Hockey League in Alberta. In the 1984/85 season he was recognized as the most valuable player in the league.
From 1985 to 1989 studied at Bowling Green State University, played for the hockey team of this higher educational institution at the Central University Hockey Association, of which he became a champion in 1987. He began the 1989/90 season at the Finnish club " Karpat " (Oulu), and finished in the American "Johnston Chefs from the East Coast Hockey League and Springfield Indian, in which they won the Calder Cup .
In August 1990, he signed a contract as a free agent with the New York Islanders , but he never made it to the main team. For three seasons, he played for the Islanders in the National Hockey League for a total of 25 games. For the first two seasons, he also played for their farm club, Capital District Islanders, from the American Hockey League .
From 1992 to 1994 He played mainly for the Swedish Lexanda , spent the 1994/95 season as part of the Krefeld Penguin club from the German Hockey League , played eleven matches in which he scored two goals and made seven assists. In the 1995/96 season he defended the colors of the Swedish Brunes from Gävle, and from 1996 to 1999. represented the Swiss “Langnau” , with whom he entered the National League A. In 1999-2000. He returned to the Swedish “Lexanda”, and spent the 2001/02 season in the Swiss “Friborg-Gotterone” , then moved to the “ Björkleven ” from the second Swedish league, with whom he entered the main league. He finished his career at the Japanese hockey club Oji Eagles (2002-2004). which made his debut in the matches of the Asian Hockey League in the 2003/04 season.
From 2010 to 2012 He was the head coach and general manager of the St. Albert Steel, who played in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. In the 2012/13 season, he was general manager and director of hockey operations at the Whitecourt Wolverines club of the same league.
At the Winter Olympics in Lillehammer (1994), as part of the national team of Canada, he won the silver medal.
