Biography
Son of Pithophan [1] . Tlepol during the life of Alexander of Macedon with 330 BC. er together with Atminap he ruled first Hyrcania and Parthia , and then in 325 BC. er became the satrap of Carmania instead of Siberia .
After the death of Alexander in 322 BC. er and with the new section of the satrapies in the Triparadis in 321 BC. er for Tlepolem were confirmed his possession.
During the Second War, the Diadochi among the other satraps of the East, Tlepol, fought on the side of Eumenes against Antigone the One-Eyed . Tlepolis brought 1,500 infantrymen and 700 riders with him. Despite the defeat of Eumenes in 316 BC. e., Tlepolem was able to retain his post due to his own popularity among the local population.
