Olga Anisimovna Vorobyova ( December 19, 1902 - February 14, 1974 ) - Soviet geologist, doctor of geological and mineralogical sciences, a major specialist in alkaline rocks.

Biography
Born on December 19, 1902 (01/01/1903). She graduated from the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute in 1930.
Since 1930, a researcher at the Petrographic Institute , where she worked all her life. A member of the expedition A.E. Fersman in the Khibiny, Lovozersky, Monchei Wolf Tundra ( Kola Peninsula ). Scientific Secretary of the first Polar Science Center - Khibiny Mining Scientific Station ("Tietta").
In 1937, without defending a dissertation, she was awarded the degree of candidate of geological and mineralogical sciences - for work on petrography and mineralogy of the Kola Peninsula .
In 1943 she defended her doctoral dissertation on alkaline rocks of the Arctic.
In 1947, the S. Kirov Prize was awarded to the USSR Academy of Sciences for mineralogical and petrographic studies of the alkaline massifs of the Kola Peninsula.
From 1958 to 1962 Acted as deputy of the Kirov District Council of Moscow. She was also an expert reviewer of the Higher Attestation Commission, State Reserves Committee, and the Committee on Lenin Prizes.
In the 60s, she studied the patterns of distribution of titanium-magnetite ores of the Kachkanar type in the Middle and Northern Urals. Co-author of the monograph "Gabbro-pyroxenite-dunite belt of the Northern Urals", published in 1962.
In 1972, the title of " Honored Scientist of the RSFSR " was awarded.
She died suddenly on February 14, 1974. She was buried at Vvedensky cemetery .
Her students were geologists R. M. Yashin, V. A. Kononov, E. V. Sveshnikov, E. D. Andreeva.
In memory of her, in 1979, the commission on new minerals and the names of the All-Union Mineralogical Society named the new mineral “olgit”.
