Story
Episode “Meeting with Maxim”
The short story begins with a movie theater, where Soviet viewers watch the final part of the trilogy about Maxim - “ Vyborg Side ”. After the film ends and light is lit in the hall, actor Boris Chirkov comes out from the screen to the audience in the costume of his hero, Maxim. He begins to convince viewers of the need to go to the front. From time to time, he draws attention to the movie screen, where a chronicle interview with a Soviet pilot is shown, as well as another short story in the anthology of the almanac “Sleep in the Hand,” where the warrior Siegfried comes to Hitler and then Napoleon.

Hitler ( Peter Repnin ) had a disturbing dream: he had Napoleon ( Vladimir Kantsel ), the German occupiers of 1918 - all those who had experienced the power of Russian weapons on their own skin.
