Biography

Born in the village of Lisino (now - Volosovsky district of the Leningrad region) [1] . In the ranks of the Red Army since 1927 [4] [5] .

November 11, 1929 he graduated from the 2nd military school of pilots in Borisoglebsk ; after graduation he served as a pilot instructor [2] . In 1932 he joined the VKP (b) [4] [5] .

From June 22, 1941 - in the battles of the Great Patriotic War as a squadron commander ; in 1941 he was slightly injured [4] [5] . From 10/30/1941 to 4/17/1944 - commander 14 tbap (renamed the 14th long-range aviation regiment) ; in March 1943, the regiment was awarded the honorary title of "Guards" [4] [5] , and he received a new number of forces "11". From 17.4.1944 until the end of the war - commander of the 9th Guards Long-Range Aviation Division (from 12.26.1944 - 22 tbad) [5] . During the war he personally made 31 combat missions, 27 of them at night [6] .

After the war, Major General Aviation Blinov continued to command the division. From November 1947 to December 1949 he studied at the Higher Military Academy. KE Voroshilov, then was appointed commander of the 79th Guards Bomber Aviation Corps DA. From September 1950, he served as Chief of the Combat Training Directorate of the DA Headquarters. From July 1955, he was Head of the Planning and Organization of Combat Training Department - Deputy Head of the Combat Training Directorate of the DA. From May 1956 - Head of the 29th Military Aviation Officer School for Combat Use of Long-Range Aviation. From December 31, 1960, he was at the disposal of the commander of the 2nd Separate Heavy Aviation Corps of Long-Range Aviation. May 15, 1961 transferred to the reserve [7] .

He died February 26, 1994 in Moscow [7] .
