Koroda is a village in the Gunib region of Dagestan . The administrative center of the rural settlement is the Village Council of Korodinsky.

The village consists of an old and a new part, and as of 2016 the old part was already completely abandoned, only one elderly resident of Patimat lived in it [2] . In March 2019, it became known that the last resident of the village died [3] .

Geography
Located 12 km northwest of the district center with. Gunib , on the river Kunada (basin of the Avarskoye Koysu river ).

History
In 2017, the village hosted the filming of the feature film Pavel Lungin's " Brotherhood " (according to the script, the film takes place in an Afghan village) [6] .
