Andreevka was one of the fortified points built on the southern border of the Russian state to protect against attacks by the Crimean Tatars (there were reports that in August 1673 the Tatars were seen under the walls of the settlement, and in 1681 they appeared again and captured 20 people).

In January 1918, Soviet power was established in the county, but in April 1918, German troops occupied the village. Under the German occupation, an underground group arose in the village, headed by D. G. Shmatko (later on becoming the basis of the Andreevsky partisan detachment) [4] .

During the civil war, power in the county changed several times, but on December 23, 1919, Soviet power was restored [4] .

In 1928, a commune named after him was organized here. T. G. Shevchenko (since 1930 - TSOZ), in April 1929 - TSOZ "Chervoniy Partizan" [4] .

In the 1930s, a power station, creamery, MTS and a new school were built here [4] .
