Hero of Socialist Labor (1984). Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR 11th convocation. Winner of the State Prize of the Ukrainian SSR (1983).

Biography
Born April 17, 1939 in a peasant family in the village of Great Krynki. He received a secondary education. In 1954 he graduated from a seven-year school in his native village and in 1958 - the Sofia School of Agricultural Mechanization.
From 1954 - a trailer, a combine, a mechanized link for growing sugar beet of the Gorky collective farm of the Globinsky district of the Poltava region.
In 1964 he joined the CPSU.
In 1984 he was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor "for achieving outstanding performance and labor heroism shown in fulfilling plans and socialist commitments to increase the production and sale of grain and other agricultural products to the state in 1983" . From the same year - the head of the mechanized detachment of the collective farm named after Gorky Globinsky district of the Poltava region.
He was elected deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR 11 convocations from the Globinsky electoral district (1985–1990). After retirement, he lived in his native village, where he died on September 24, 2000.
