The Chittagong Stock Exchange ( English Chittagong Stock Exchange ) is a stock exchange located in the port city of Chittagong in the southeastern part of Bangladesh . The exchange was founded in 1995 and was solemnly opened by the Prime Minister. Amir Khosra Mahmoud Chaudhuri, member of the Bangladesh Parliament, became President of the Board of Directors. One of the two exchanges in the country [1] is the second most important in the country after the Dacia Stock Exchange . Currently, the board of directors consists of 24 people, the president is Nasiruddin Ahmed Chaudhuri , the council has three vice-presidents.
