(11836) Eileen ( lat. Eileen ) - an asteroid belonging to the group of asteroids crossing the orbit of Mars , which was discovered on February 5, 1986 by American astronomers Carolyn Shoemaker and Eugene Shoemaker at the Palomar Observatory and named after the American astronaut Eileen Collins [1] .
